Estonia’s Coming Elections Avoids its Apartheid Problem

Published 2019-01-23 16:46:25 by Guest Author in Estonia, Eu, Eurasia, Russia

By Dimitri Klensky – TALLINN, Estonia –  Coming up are the elections to the Riigikogu (Estonian parliament). The most successful “hunter” for Russian votes is the Center Party. For many years, it has been winning due to the reliable support of Russian and Russian-speaking residents (4/5 of the total number of supporting centrists). And, nevertheless, the centrists launched an aggressive election campaign, focused on their traditional electorate. Why? The text of the videos on the popular PBC channel among non-Estonians: “The Center Party is building a fair state where every Estonian resides in economic growth. We will provide everyone with affordable medical care, increase pensions… Continue ->
