Any Word That Threatens Power Is Literally Russian Propaganda

Published 2019-02-06 21:30:01 by Curwen Ares Rolinson in Eurasia, Headline-News, Opinions, Russia

Now here is quite a thing. What is being suggested, is that the primary users of any of these terms are supposedly Russian bots, or other vectors for material that can be ‘safely dismissed’ out of hand as “propaganda”. This is not, strictly speaking, “Orwellian” – in the sense of Orwell’s conception of “Newspeak”. That, after all, was the deliberate efforts to change cognition and render rebellion impossible through the policing of language by removing whole words and thus, potentially, concepts … whilst proffering other, more rote and mechanical formulations elsewhere. PRISTINA, Serbia – The leader of the illegally declared “independent” Kosovo said on Tuesday that Serbia’s traditional supporter Russia pledged to support reconciliation between Belgrade and Pristina, removing a possible obstacle in the stalled talks. President Hashim Thaci revealed that he spoke with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in November at the first meeting between the two sides, on the fringes of the centennial celebrations marking the end of the First World War. “I asked him very directly: what would Russia’s reaction be if Kosovo and Serbia came to an agreement? Israeli satellite shows Russian S-300 missiles in Syria ready to take down enemy attacks

Published 2019-02-06 17:00:13 by Paul Antonopoulos in Eurasia, Headline-News, Israel, Mena, Russia, Syria

DAMASCUS, Syria – Three Russian long-range S-300 rocket launchers are set up in Syria and ready to fire, says Israeli satellite imaging company ImageSat International (iSi). “Due to the current regional tension and the detected erection of the launchers it is possible that the mentioned activity indicates an increase of the operational level and alertness. However it is currently unclear why only one launcher is covered by camouflage net. This situation is rare and raises question marks about the operational level of the whole battery and specifically of the covered and folded launcher”, the company assessed. The company suggests that… Continue ->
