CARACAS – The Protector of the state Táchira, Freddy Bernal, announced that irregular groups of mercenaries and paramilitaries are now being organized today in the Colombian region of Norte de Santander with the aim of venturing into Venezuela. Bernal said that in three hotels in the town of Cúcuta remain about 435 Venezuelan individuals, among which there are some deserters and paramilitary mercenaries, who are in fact funded by the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR). DUGIN: Globalization and Liberalism is on the Verge of Collapse – But Who and What Comes Next?

Published 2019-03-03 18:58:33 by Guest Author in Eurasia, Headline-News, Opinions, Propaganda, Russia

By Alexandr Dugin – Liberalism and globalization have decisively failed. The situation reminds me late years of the USSR. At that time, the real power was still totally in the hands of the Communist Party that controlled almost everything, but at the same time the whole system was over. And one could feel it. Today we find ourselves in exactly the same situation with the global dominance of liberal elites. They still control everything, but it is already over. They will disappear as quickly as communism did in Eastern Europe. The anti-populist (anti-Putin, anti-Assad, anti-China, anti-Brexit, anti-Iran, anti-Salvini and so… Continue ->

BAGHDAD – U.S forces are setting up new military bases in Iraq, particularly in the province of al-Anbar, to closely monitor the Tehran-Baghdad-Damascus-Beirut resistance axis and to seize the large amount of gas present in this region. This will present a problem for resistance axis forces, and these moves go without the approval of the Iraqi government. The Lebanese daily AlAkhbar reported that US forces were installing two new bases on the international road linking Baghdad to Damascus and Amman, defying Iraqi calls for their withdrawal from their country. The first base is set to come into operation. However, preparations… Continue ->

By Matthew J.L. Ehret On February 28, 2019 a new policy announcement was made in Ottawa Canada that called for a re-orientation towards space exploration in partnership with NASA on an endeavor known as the Lunar Orbital Platform-Gateway (LOP-G) program. This program was first announced at a Press conference in the morning with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accompanied by several fellow MPs and two young astronauts. The press conference also featured an inspired presentation by David St. Jacques, the French Canadian astronaut now working alongside American and Russian counterparts on the International Space Station who discussed the ultimate purpose of mankind… Continue ->

Does Pakistan’s ‘Good-will’ Repatriation of Downed Pilot mean ‘De-escalation’? Here’s why Not

Published 2019-03-03 12:12:07 by Curwen Ares Rolinson in Eurasia, Headline-News, India, Opinions, Pakistan

The question being posed by the internet is this: As Pakistan has returned the downed IAF pilot, does this mean that ‘de-escalation’ will now ensue? This misses the point. The ‘escalation’ of the long-running confrontation in Kashmir has not been about one Indian pilot crossing the border. It has been about any number of Pakistani-backed or based insurgents crossing the border. Therefore, as positive as it is, the return of one Indian pilot is not a meaningful change in the circumstances which have mandated ‘escalation’. (Or, as it should more properly be called – ‘response’; for the ‘escalation’ had already… Continue ->

CRUMBLING JUNTA? Ukrainian Presidential Candidate Boyko Wants Minsk II to be Enforced

Published 2019-03-03 12:04:41 by Joaquin Flores in Donbass, Eurasia, Headline-News, Ukraine

KIEV – Candidate for the presidency of Ukraine and present sitting Rada MP, Yuriy Boyko, said that there is a need for direct negotiations with the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR) if Kiev wants to return the Donbass. The reality though is that Kiev does not want the Donbass returned. What does presidential candidate Yuriy Boyko say? In his opinion, the Minsk Agreement needs to be adhered to by the Ukrainian side, if anything is ever going to be resolved. The problem is that in Ukraine’s media-political culture, it’s impossible to make reference to the only… Continue ->

Poroshenko Losing Support Among U.S Backers, time in power now limited

Published 2019-03-03 07:21:17 by Guest Author in Eurasia, Headline-News, Opinions, Ukraine

By Anton Orlovsky – The Ukrainian president-oligarch Poroshenko has repeatedly confirmed that he is a puppet of the United States. His very coming to the post of the country’s leader was not without the support of Washington. But over the past five years, Poroshenko has lost confidence. Now nobody needs it. A senior researcher at the American Atlantic Council analytical center, journalist Diana Francis sharply criticized the Ukrainian president in her article . According to her, this person does not deserve to hold the post of head of state in the future. Frances drew attention to the high level of crime in Ukraine. She cited the example… Continue ->
