GOTLAND, Sweden – On Monday, Swedish military officials said they would install an upgraded ground-to-air missile system in Gotland, a new sign of tensions in the region with Russia, Reuters reports. The new system, developed by the Saab company, would replace the air defense systems that were part of the military arsenal on the Swedish island. Libya: Marshal Haftar loses Gharyan HQ and Declares War on Turkey

Published 2019-07-01 20:15:25 by Guest Author in World, Eurasia, Headline-News, Libya, Mena, Opinions, Turkey

From Strategika 51 – translated by Steve Brown for FRN – Our assessment of the situation in Libya proved to be correct. Turkish military support for the Tripoli government (GNA) has upset the calculations of the countries supporting Marshal Khalifa Haftar. Haftar and the LNA have failed to advance on Tripoli, and Haftar’s forces remain stuck about ten kilometers from the headquarters of the Government of National Accord. Turkish military support for the GNA  was provided by a discreet airlift and multiple sea shuttles. Turkey purchases cheap oil — at lower than international market prices — from Libya. LNA forces… Continue ->

Forgotten Battles Against the Deep State Part 5

Published 2019-07-01 18:48:02 by Matthew Ehret in Anglo-5, Canada, Conspiracy-Theories, Headline-News, United-Kingdom

On June 15, 2019 the strange fact was made public by Canada’s National Post that the entire 40 year CSIS dossier compiled on Canada’s most famous Prime Minister, Pierre Elliot Trudeau was destroyed by Canada’s spy agency in 1989. How this embarrassing fact could have gone un-noticed for so long is tied to access to information laws in Canada which make all government dossiers available on any public or private citizen 20 years after their deaths. With the 20 year anniversary of Pierre Trudeau’s death just around the corner, hungry historians searching for a story filed early applications to read… Continue ->

By Sophia Iliadi – The Orthodox world is facing a total rearrangement. The balance of powers and the distribution of influence between 14 mutually recognized Local Orthodox Churches is shifting as the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, historically first among equal autocephalous Churches, has completely lost its weight. This is happening against the background of an unfolding crisis, which Orthodoxy hasn’t witnessed since the Great Schism of 1054. The threat of a new schism emerged because of Patriarch Bartholomew’s ambitions who claims he is the leader of the Orthodox world. The division affects nearly all of the autocephalous Churches, repartitioning the… Continue ->
