‘Hollywood fantasy’: Vice Admiral calms discussions on possible US-Russia naval conflict

Published 2019-08-12 16:30:00 by Paul Antonopoulos in Anglo-5, Eurasia, Headline-News, Russia, United-States

MOSCOW – The US should not abuse exercises near Russia’s borders, as Washington underestimates the risks of such maneuvers, writes Lyle Goldstein, a professor at the US Naval College’s China Marine Research Institute. In an article written for National Interest magazine , the professor points out that there are still at least 18,000 mines in the Russian waters of the Azov Sea, as well as along the Black Sea coast, left after World War II. Reason for war? An accidental explosion of a NATO ship in one of these mines could lead to a naval conflict with Russia, which could… Continue ->

BEIJING – China is considering escorting its commercial vessels in the Persian Gulf as part of a US-proposed naval coalition to ensure the safe passage of tankers through the region. China’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Ni Jian, told Reuters that “If there happens to be a very unsafe situation we will consider having our navy escort our commercial vessels,” Ambassador Ni Jian told Reuters in Abu Dhabi. “We are studying the U.S. proposal on Gulf escort arrangements,” China’s embassy later said in a text message. The US has begun to exert pressure on other nations to join a… Continue ->

THANK YOU SANCTIONS: Reviving the Ural Mountains – Ancient Mining Towns Given Fresh Start With New Manufacturing Tech (VIDEO)

Published 2019-08-12 14:46:21 by Drago Bosnic in Eurasia, Finance, Headline-News, Russia, Science

Polevskoy, Russian Federation – Ural Federal District is an area of crucial importance in the central part of Russia. Same as most of the country, it suffered greatly during the 1990s, especially under the IMF-advised policies of Russia’s traitors, neoliberal shock-therapy economists selling Russia’s economic giants for pennies. It all lasted until the early 2000s when new authorities decided to put a stop to it. The region started a long-overdue revival. In 2009, the revival was slowed down during the global recession crisis, but it soon recovered. However, the Western sanctions aiming to weaken Russia soon reached the Ural Federal… Continue ->

MOSCOW – The first flight of the brand new Russian military drone S-70 Okhotnik-B (Hunter-B) is of great importance for the development of military technology in Russia, writes the Chinese newspaper Huanqiu Shibao. As the article’s author, Zhang Jie noted, stealth drones made with the “flying wing” scheme have recently become one of the world’s leading aviation development directions. “In the future, intelligence, surveillance, reporting and attacking platforms will have to combine stealth with good cruising characteristics,” he added. Jie pointed out that thanks to “flying wing” technology, the Russian military drone has high efficiency with a constant subsonic speed…. Continue ->

VIDEO: How Russia’s Cartoon Industry Fights Neoliberal Degeneracy

Published 2019-08-12 13:16:26 by Drago Bosnic in Entertainment, Eurasia, Headline-News, Russia

MOSCOW – The unexpected success of Russia’s cartoon industry in recent years, especially with the Masha and the Bear cartoon series, has brought the long-awaited revival to Russian cartoonists. With Western MSM (mainstream media) pushing for the increasingly despotic regulation in media space, including the cartoon industry, this is a breath of fresh air. With over 4 billion views, one of the Masha and the Bear episodes is in the top 5 most popular YouTube videos. With the utterly deranged policies of the allegedly “leftist” SJWs (“social justice” warriors), even the once-proud classics of the Western cartoon industry succumbed to… Continue ->

Medjugorje, Herzegovina: How a mass crime scene became a place of Catholic pilgrimage (WARNING, VERY DISTURBING IMAGES)

Published 2019-08-12 11:56:11 by Guest Author in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Crime, Croatia, Eu, Eurasia, Headline-News, Serbia

By Grey Carter – They say it all started on 24 Jun 1981. Sunset over incandescent Herzegovina, haunted rocky space, blood, and water. Fifteen-year-old Ivanka Ivankovic,  on the way home to the village Bijakovići, suddenly saw on the hill Crnica a woman in a white robe, with a white scarf over the head and the child in her arms. From that moment about 45 millions of people around the world have visited the Crnica hill and the surrounding area called Medjugorje. What was on the hill is not hard to guess –  it was Our Lady, as Catholics say, or… Continue ->

VIDEO: Russia’s Decade – Washington’s failure to Stop Gazprom

Published 2019-08-12 11:30:39 by Drago Bosnic in Eu, Eurasia, Finance, Headline-News, Politics, Russia

MOSCOW – The United States of America invested heavily in trying to stop Russia’s efforts to build natural gas pipelines and related infrastructure, but they failed miserably. Despite Washington’s considerable leverage over Germany’s decision-making, even that amount of power was unable to convince Germany to renounce its vital national interests. Russia’s (and Germany’s) concerns over the unreliability of Ukraine as a transit country put the Nord Stream and South Stream in motion. The US managed to use it’s puppets in Bulgaria to torpedo the deal, but soon, Turkey made sure not to miss the opportunity of getting a stable supply… Continue ->

A vast sweeping change towards a “green economy” is now being pushed by forces that may make an educated citizen rather uncomfortable. Of course, news reports flash daily showcasing the brave young movement of “eco-warriors” led by Sweden’s 16 year old Greta Thunberg or America’s 17 year old Jamie Margolin who have become a force across Europe and America leading such movements as the Extinction Rebellion, This is Zero Hour, the Sunrise Movement and Children’s eco-crusade. The young face of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez daily sells the idea that the only way for outdated capitalist forces that have plagued the world for… Continue ->
