Iran’s uranium stockpile surpasses 1,200 kilograms

TEHRAN, Jan. 25 (MNA) – The Special Assistant to CEO of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Asghar Zarean informed on Saturday evening that Iran’s stockpile of uranium has exceeded 1,200 kilograms. The increase in stockpile volume came after Iran recently took the 5th and final step of reducing its JCPOA commitments. The officials also announced that Iran is to unveil a new generation of centrifuges on April 8, 2020. Idleb, SANA-Syrian Arab army units established control over villages and towns of Karsian, Ma’ar Shamarin, Abu Jreif and Takana in Idleb south-eastern countryside after eliminating the last dens of terrorism there. SANA reporters said on Saturday that the army units carried out accurate operations with artillery and missile strikes on the axis of Karsian, Ma’ar Shamarin, Abu Jreif and Takana in the surroundings of Ma’arat al-Numan. With those military operations, the Army has achieved new progress towards Ma’arat al-Numan city.

Turkish earthquake fatalities rise to 19, with 772 people injured

ANKARA – The death toll and injuries from a major earthquake in eastern Turkey continues to rise. According to updated data, 19 people have died in the cataclysm, another 772 were injured. Such figures are quoted on January 25 by Anadolu , citing a statement by Minister of Health Fahrettin Kouju . “We have lost 19 citizens. MAJOR: Russia’s New Frigates Will Have Far Greater Firepower Than America’s Cruisers and Heavy Destroyers

MOSCOW – Russia’s expanding shipyards have laid down a number of new frigates under the ambitious Admiral Gorshkov-class warship program. Fifteen of the 5,400-ton ships are planned of which three have been completed and four more are under construction. Supplementing the original Project 22350 Gorshkov-class ships, the Russian Navy is planning to commission a heavy class of frigate which borders the weight range of destroyers, the 7,000 ton 22350m, which is also designated the Gorshkov-class.
