UK to Introduce New Laws Protecting Soldiers Who Committed War Crimes in Afghanistan, Iraq

LONDON – The UK government is set to introduce new legislation to shield its soldiers from prosecution for war crimes they committed while serving in military invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. Germany Calls Up Reservists to Fight the Coronavirus

BERLIN – Germany will deploy the Bundeswehr to help civilian authorities fight the COVID-19 disease caused by the deadly novel coronavirus. ROME/PARIS – Health officials in Italy confirmed a further 427 deaths from the deadly Covid-19, pushing the country’s overall death toll to 3,405. The figure overtakes the number of total deaths in China from the start of the outbreak.
