Oskar Lafontaine tracks The stages of US war crimes in the Middle East

Published 2020-03-28 17:26:58 by Tom Winter in Headline-News, Iran, Iraq, Mena, Syria, United-States

The blood trail of US imperialism — a Facebook post by Oskar Lafontaine, former chair of Germany’s Die Linke Party Whoever wants to understand the events in the Middle East, has to learn that capitalism leads to an ever increasing concentration of economic power, and thus to imperialism, that is, to war-like conquests of raw materials and sales markets. The stages of US war crimes in the Middle East are as follows: In 1953, the CIA overthrew the democratically elected Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh to get Iran’s oil under control again. In the 1980s, the United States marshalled Osama… Continue ->

ISHCHENKO: Coronavirus & the Collapse of the US Empire

Published 2020-03-28 16:07:17 by Guest Author in Anglo-5, Headline-News, Nato, Opinions, United-States

By Rostislav Ishchenko It comes to be that empires collapse suddenly, after being quite sturdy (as was the Russian Empire in 1917). It comes to be that empires disappear after many decades even centuries of excruciating decline, like the Western Roman Empire in 476. But if the empire collapses, two conditions must always coincide: an acute global crisis, which the empire cannot resolve at the expense of domestic means alone, and the inability or unwillingness of imperial power to adapt to the crisis through the necessary reforms. The West – the United States and its first-line vassals: Canada, Australia, New… Continue ->

Italian PM Conte’s Coronavirus Challenge to Brussels! “Europe must be united or it does not exist”

Published 2020-03-28 15:28:10 by Guest Author in Brussels, Eurasia, Germany, Headline-News, Italy, Opinions

By Monica Guerzoni – from Corriere.it – translated by Jonathan McCarthy for FRN The premier’s strategy to get the most out of it: Brussels has 10 days to give us a sign, Italian finances are in order At the height of the most dramatic crisis since the post-war period, with the whole of Italy committed with all its strength to fight against “an invisible enemy that goes where it wants, like the wind”, two things Giuseppe Conte had asked Europe: unity and speed of action. And when the head of government realized that he would not get either of those,… Continue ->

New Anti-Iran Sanctions in the time of Covid-19? US Economic Terrorism

Published 2020-03-28 15:13:43 by Joaquin Flores in Headline-News, Iran, Mena, United-States

TEHRAN, Mar. 27 (MNA) – The Spokesperson of Iranian Mission to the United Nations Alireza Miryousefi described the new anti-Iran sanctions as an example of an inhuman US policy, driven by “Secretaries of Hate” toward Iran.   In a Friday tweet, Miryousefi wrote, “Imposing new sanctions while Iranians are fighting #COVID19, & amidst a growing number who are advocating ending US #economicterrorism on Iran, is simply another example of an inhuman US policy, driven by “Secretaries of Hate” toward Iran.#Medicalterroris.” The United States has imposed new sanctions against 20 companies, officials and individuals in Iran and Iraq, despite growing global… Continue ->

Coronavirus Panic? You Should see What Yemenis are Going Through (VIDEO)

Published 2020-03-28 13:55:31 by Drago Bosnic in Headline-News, Ksa, Mena, Yemen

SANA’A – Coronavirus has swept through the modern world and made a complete mess. Global superpowers are under partial or complete lockdown. Citizens of many countries around the world are instructed to stay in their homes, which many consider a problem since they can’t go outside. You’ll just have to stay in the warmth of your home after you stocked up on food (which in our world means that you can choose which food), abnormal amounts of toilet paper and, if you live in the US, guns. However, we often overlook the most important substance on Earth – freshwater. Clean… Continue ->

End of an Era: The Cult of Monetarism is Crumbling

Published 2020-03-28 07:00:01 by Guest Author in Anglo-5, Finance, Headline-News, Opinions, Politics, United-States

The public is awake to the fiction of money and central banks won’t be able to get this genie back in the bottle We must never again allow them to swindle us with their pathetic lies. Money is a fiction! We can create it for whatever we want. We should create it for productive investment, and not bailing out bankers, but like any tool, money is neutral, and can be used for good or evil.   By Carey List When the current hysteria around COVID-19 settles down there’s going to be a lot of things under the microscope. Did the… Continue ->

Did Putin call for martial law?!

Published 2020-03-28 01:25:07 by Guest Author in Eurasia, Headline-News, Opinions, Russia

CAUTION when viewing this video. You need to be able to decipher that there are two different perspectives: the first is unabridged government power vis a vis the public. You are likely to feel this way if you live in a Western state. This is not being advocated for here. What we’re talking about is oppositional forces within Russia, often funded from abroad, staging events which are not grassroots and aimed at disrupting civil life in order to make it seem authentic and favourable. What President Putin is talking about is activity that is taking place outside of the current… Continue ->
