By Arthur Evans – Amid a public discussion going on in Russia about proposed constitutional amendments, minor changes to Article 68 (on language and culture) hardly raise any questions. However, added to the text of the revised Basic Law of the Land is a clause that explains why Russian is the state language of Russia, “the language of the state-forming people, a member of the multinational union of equal peoples of the Russian Federation.” The amendment thus recognizes the Russian people’s leading role in the creation and existence of Russia as a sovereign country. Published 2020-06-18 22:12:03 by Joaquin Flores in Eurasia, Headline-News, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine

BELGRADE – As the Orthodox Church faces ongoing attacks by NATO, Vatican, Atlantic Council, and Radio Liberty (RFE) backed endeavours to stoke autocephalic movements in the historically Orthodox world, new threats have emerged which will soon force the hand of the Kremlin to defend Christiandom in the east. These western vectors have done so by stoking nationalism within Orthodoxy, a heresy based in national chauvinism known as ethnophyletism. The criminal and heretical conspiracy goes all the way to the ‘first among equals’ of the Church’s seat at Phanar, in the person of Bartholomew. Already now there is a defacto schism… Continue ->

This is Why Saudi Arabia Should Remain on UN Blacklist

Published 2020-06-18 18:07:58 by Drago Bosnic in Anglo-5, Headline-News, Ksa, Mena, Politics, United-States, Yemen

SANA’A – Campaigners and international civil society have reacted angrily to the removal of the Saudi-led military coalition in Yemen from a list of groups violating children’s rights, in a report by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. The Saudis and their partners in crime should remain blacklisted for the violation of killing and maiming of thousands of children, even though some reports claim there has been a sustained significant decrease due to indiscriminate airstrikes. They have killed a large number of children in the war on Yemen, and signs are there that they will continue to do so for the foreseeable… Continue ->
