Geneva, Switzerland – Global working hours are expected to have plummeted by 14 percent in the second quarter of 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, according to the International Labour Organization (ILO). The fall is equivalent to 400 million full-time job losses globally in the second quarter, based on a standard 48-hour working week. The ILO previously projected a 10.7 percent fall in working hours, or 305 million job losses, for the period, RT reported. Hasaka, Syria – Invading Turkish military troops and their terrorist allies have once again cut off drinking water supplies to about a million people living in and around the northeastern Syrian city of Hasaka by stopping a border water pumping station, a report said.
