MAJOR: Azerbaijan Uses Banned White Phosphorus Munitions in Nagorno-Karabakh (VIDEO)

STEPANAKERT – Invading Azerbaijani forces were caught using white phosphorus munitions, banned internationally, in a number of renewed attacks on the Armenian-populated Republic of Artsakh (more widely known as Nagorno-Karabakh), the Ministry of Defense of Armenia announced on October 31. “This is a gross violation of the international humanitarian law, norms and the principles of customary law, the Geneva Conventions, aiming not only to harm the Defense Army but also create an environmental disaster,” the ministry said in a brief statement. MAJOR: US Military Helicopter Goes Down in Syria

Hasakah, Syria – Earlier today, October 31, a US military helicopter went down in the governorate of al-Hasakah, in northeastern Syria, according to a number of opposition sources. Citing a “special source”, the Jesr Press said the helicopter fell near the town of al- Shaddadi in the southern countryside of al-Hasakah governorate. Other sources reported that the helicopter went down inside a base of the US-led occupying forces located in the vicinity of the town. Azerbaijan ‘Shoots Down’ 427th Armenian Su-25 Jet

BAKU/YEREVAN – The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan claimed on October 29 that its Air Defense Force had shot down two Su-25 warplanes of the Armenian Air Force over the disputed region of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). “At about 13:18 and 13:20, two Su-25 attack aircrafts of the Armenian armed forces that attempted to inflict airstrikes on the positions of the Azerbaijan Army in the Gubadli direction of the front were shot down by Azerbaijan Air Defense Units,” the ministry said in an official statement.
