At least two people were killed and 23 others injured as a result of intense rocket fire, aimed at residential areas in Al Zahraa district of the Syrian city of Homs.

According to the ground sources, the rockets were fired by the so-called “moderate terrorists”, stationed in the eastern countryside of Homs province.

It is noteworthy that areas in which these terrorists are stationed, are included within the de-escalation zones agreement, meaning that terrorists who fired the rockets violated the agreement.

Aside from the casualties, huge material damage was also reported, with several buildings being destroyed and at least 6 vehicles being burned.

In the past, the district of Zahraa was often exposed to both, the rocket attacks and suicide bombings.
