Moscow strongly WARNS West against risky ideas of using force in Venezuela
Published 2019-02-07 23:06:33 by Paul Antonopoulos in Eurasia, Headline-News, Latin-America, Russia, Venezuela
MOSCOW, Russia – Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov has stated that Russia strongly warns the West against risky ideas of pushing forward a scenario of force in Venezuela. For the Russian Deputy FM, “a destructive external intervention, especially a military intervention in Venezuelan internal affairs is the worst of all possible scenarios.” “It is difficult to predict its consequences, but it is clear that the hypothetical use of force in this situation will lead to a wave of bloodshed that would have consequences outside of Venezuela,” Ryabkov said. According to the Russian diplomat, military intervention in Venezuela’s internal affairs… Continue ->

END ANTI-BRAHMIN ANARYARCHY: Part 2

Another day, another case of an American man whipping up ignorance and divisive idiocy via the Twitter medium they’re immanently associated with. Except in this case, it’s Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey. And rather than speaking on a matter that is relevant to America, he’s chosen to wade into India’s ongoing post-colonial internal conflicts over “caste”. Now, at this point it is probably necessary to make a note of the frantic damage-control sentiment put out by Twitter India. According to them, the “SMASH BRAHMINICAL PATRIARCHY” sign which Dorsey was holding, was “a tangible reflection of our company’s efforts to see, hear,… Continue ->

Author’s note: This piece was initially written for a Hindusphere audience, and has generously been run by Fort Russ so that the issues raised within are able to be brought before a broader following. However, because it launches straight-in with some pretty contextually-embedded material, readers may benefit from a brief intro helping to explain what’s going on with this controversy – and why we’re up in arms about it. As many will be aware, Brahmins have – broadly speaking – been our “priestly” and “intellectual” portion of society. This has obviously meant that, for those seeking to erase or otherwise… Continue ->

On “Facing Up” To The “Whole History” Of NZ Pre-1840

February 6th is our national day, here in New Zealand – Waitangi Day. And while it nominally commemorates the spirit of partnership with which the Treaty of Waitangi was entered into, and subsequently, the shared heritage of our contemporary nationhood … it has also become a flashpoint for protest, invective, and vitriol from both Maori and non-Maori voices seeking to contest and to ‘rewrite’ in some cases, much of our present-day politics. I see Don Brash was quoted in the Herald calling for broader education about New Zealand history, and in particular history here prior to 1840. This .. was… Continue ->
