Poland Has a Bone to Pick With Galician Nationalists – DEMANDS Exhuming of Volhynia Dead

On Friday the 12th of July in Poland the events of 1943 were somberly remembered: the victims of the massacres in Volhynia and the UPA nationalists. On the tragedy’s anniversary, the country’s president suggested that Ukraine allow exhuming and reburial of those killed in Volhynia so that their relatives could pay tribute to their memory. On the eve of the anniversary, the Ukrainian government approved the procedure for recognizing UPA militants as combat veterans. – Vesti
